Homemade Gate's BBQ Sauce

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seeds
1 Tbsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. ground red pepper
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
4 cups ketchup
1 c. apple cider vinegar
3/4 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Combine in a pan and stir until sugar dissolves. It's extra good after being in the fridge for a few days. We use this to make BBQ chicken pizza all the time.
(I can't find celery seeds or liquid smoke here, but it's still soooooo good).
